Our Journey

Close-up of informational text about sugarcane, including its scientific name Saccharum officinarum, describing it as a large unbranched grass brought to Hawaii by early Polynesians for sugar and fiber.

Every varietal of heirloom sugarcane has a story and flavor profile all its own. At Kō Hana Distillers, home of Kō Hana Hawaiian Agricole Rum, our sincerest hope is to honor and celebrate the kō we have the privilege to nurture and grow.

The image displays the word 'HANA' in large gold letters, with the definition of Hana in smaller black text: 'Work, labor, job, duty, practice, procedure, process, reason, action, to develop, to conduct'.

Kō Hana Hawaiian Agricole Rum is meticulously crafted from farm to bottle. We grow single varietals that are hand-harvested, pressed to juice, then distilled to perfection — resulting in one of the world’s finest pure cane rums.
